Why Coimbra Area
The Intermunicipal Community of the Coimbra Region, also known as CIM Region of Coimbra, is an Intermunicipal Community established on October 15, 2008. It is the largest inter-municipal community in the country, made up of 19 municipalities, serving a population of around 460 thousand inhabitants. The geographical area corresponds to NUTS III of the Coimbra Region.
